Abstract


This course is part of the Microsoft Professional Program Certificate in Front-End Web Development.

The orientation course is designed to introduce the student to the Web Front-End Developer discipline by introducing the various technologies that computer programmers use when creating web sites. The technologies are focused on aspects of web development that are part of the front-end of a web application, more specifically, code the executes on the client computer rather than on a server. This course is the first course students take as a part of the Web Front-End Developer, Microsoft Professional Program. It will introduce the topics that will be a part of the course work throughout the program. Students will gain an understanding of the technologies and have the opportunity to explore some code and developer tools for work on web applications.
